Centennial State Ballet (CSB) will host their 15th Annual Sugar Plum Tea Party Thanksgiving weekend, November 25 & 26, at Xilinx Retreat Center in Longmont. Enjoy a delightful afternoon with hot tea, sweet and savory treats, harp accompaniment, a mini-Nutcracker performance and a souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy.
This annual event hosted by the local, youth, ballet company serves as a fundraiser for the non-profit organization. Tickets from the Sugar Plum Tea Party will help fund CSB’s 17th annual production of The Nutcracker featuring accompaniment by the Flatirons Community Orchestra and the St. Vrain Singers.
A Nutcracker boutique, filled with whimsical ornaments and gifts available for purchase, provides the organization with additional revenue during the event. Centennial State Ballet invites both young and old to join them for a wonderful afternoon at the start of the 2017 holiday season.
The event has sold out in year’s past, so the organization has three available reservation times to accommodate the demand. The Sugar Plum Tea Party will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. and at 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. Tickets for the Tea Party are just $35/person. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit centennialstateballet.org or call (303) 772-1335.
