Longmont’s Ice Skating Rink Opens for 2017-18 Season

It’s time to lace up your skates and enjoy the fresh air because the Outdoor Ice Pavilion at Roosevelt Park opens for the season on Monday, Nov. 6 (weather permitting). The outdoor rink will remain open until Sunday, March 11.

The Longmont Ice Pavilion, located in Longmont’s Roosevelt Park, 725 8th Ave., offers open public skating, hockey, ice skating lessons and party rentals throughout the winter. The Pavilion’s ice rink was first opened in 2003 and was operated by a third party. The City of Longmont purchased all of the equipment in 2004, and Longmont’s Recreation & Golf Services department has managed the ice rink since.

Ice rink general admission rates range from $3.75-$6.25, with a skate rental fee of $3.50. Season passes are available and include: 20-Visit, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual passes. Public skating hours vary and are subject to change (weather dependent). For the most up-to-date Public Skating and Hockey Drop-in schedules, click here.
