Left Hand Brewing Hosts 7th Annual Leftapalooza Concert

Left Hand’s ultimate music and craft beer experience, the 7th Annual Leftapalooza, will be held on Saturday, August 5 from noon-10 p.m. in Longmont’s Roosevelt Park.

Leftapalooza features the Mile High Tribute Band Competition and brings together some of the most talented cover acts in the country to help raise funds and support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. For just $12, concertgoers can enjoy a full day’s worth of great music at the park as eight bands go head-to-head for the title of Top Mile High Tribute Band. The 2017 lineup brings you the music of AC/DC, Primus, Neil Young, Jethro Tull, David Bowie, Gov’t Mule, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and The Grateful Dead.

This year’s lineup features headliner Hell’s Belles, an all-female AC/DC tribute band. Angus Young, a founding member of AC/DC, said this world famous group was, “the best AC/DC band I ever heard.” The event will also feature Shakedown Street, the ever-popular Colorado tribute band for The Grateful Dead.

The concert will be held at downtown Longmont’s Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Ave., and will feature ten of Longmont’s craft breweries, St. Vrain Cidery and Wild Cider. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the first band taking the stage at noon. In addition to cold craft brews, three local restaurants will be on hand serving up their fare and the Left Hand Kids’ Zone offers family-friendly entertainment.

Tickets are just $12 in advance; $15 at the door. Kids 5 and under are FREE. Enjoy the VIP Experience for just $50 where you can rock out all day in the VIP Camp with premium seating, couches, shade, hourly food and beer pairings, private restrooms and more.

Beyond the music and entertainment, Leftapalooza is also a benefit concert for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the Left Hand Brewing Foundation. To date, Leftapalooza has generated over $150,000 in cash donations to charity. LLS will be present throughout the event raising awareness, swabbing concertgoers for possible donor matches, and providing Love, Hope, and Strength.
