Dickens Opera House

Originally built in 1881 by William Henry Dickens, a relative of the famous author Charles Dickens, the Dickens Opera House  is set in a beautiful, historic building. Offering live music and entertainment four to five nights a week, the Opera House is your destination for entertainment. National touring acts such as Kip Winger, Frank Hannon (Tesla), Ryan McGarvey, Hamilton Loomis, Big Bill Morganfield, Kenny Neal, and Great American Taxi have graced the Opera House stage. They continue to support the diverse local music scene with live concerts and open mic nights, as well as hosting comedy nights, theater productions and other special events throughout the year.

The Opera House’s lavish and versatile space, with room for up to 300 guests, is also a great place to host a wedding reception, anniversary party or other milestone event.
