Colorado’s 38th Annual Kinetics Solst-ish Sculpture Race

Celebrate the longest day of the year on Saturday, June 24 at Union Reservoir, 461 County Road 26, with the 38th Annual Colorado Kinetics Sculpture Race!

Watch as teams compete over land, water, and various obstacles in their human-powered vehicles built at home. Teams are encouraged to have themes and dress accordingly, so, don’t be surprised if you see folks riding around in crazy outfits, trying not to sink their craft, and having a great time! Teams are scored on how fast they complete the course, how well/interesting their craft is built, theme/costume creation, and various kinetics related qualities.

Live music, Solstice Swim, Bonfire, and Sculpture Burn are all part of the fun happening from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. that day. So, get a team together and enter your own creation or pack a lunch and the family up in the car to come out and celebrate the official beginning of SUMMER!
